Manual Reference:  Page 7-9
Brief Description:  Right wing aileron hinges #3

Haven't had much time in the last week to get at the build. I was at CFB Trenton yesterday and got a solid 4.5 hours in, good flying and some good crosswinds landings.

I received my care package from Van's this past week. With it, I got the replacement W-413A-R plate. After it was deburred, cleaned, and primed, I riveted the pieces together. For those of you not at this stage yet, beware. The AN470AD4-11 rivets are not long enough. You have to go up to -12. After I set the first -11, I realized it wasn't long enough, so it was drilled out and the -12's added.

You have to use an off-set rivet set to set the AN470's here after the fairing and brace are in place. No big deal. I clubbed over one rivet and drilled it out.

In image two, the first rivet on the bottom is a AN426AD4-7. This had to be backriveted in place. After setting the rivets, I shot a dhort blast of self etching primer over the rivets.

I also deburred the bottom skin rivet holes.

Got a batch of proseal in, so I'll finish off installing the inner and outer ribs tomorrow for the left tank.
